Dental Cleanings

Your dental care at AGN Dental Associates starts with regular cleanings and a periodontal screening. An adult cleaning takes about an hour and includes an oral cancer screening, and a comprehensive oral exam performed by the dentist.

At AGN Dental Associates, our dentists give you a full oral exam at every cleaning to ensure the highest level of service and care. A typical dental examination includes a visual health check of your teeth and gums, your dentist providing you with any advice or recommendations on care, an oral cancer screening and digital x-rays (as required).

We recommend you come in for dental cleanings at least every six months to prevent small problems from developing, which could lead to more intense and expensive  health concerns.

Periodontal Care

Your teeth are not the only important part of your mouth. Your gums are essential to your oral and overall health. Periodontal disease (gum disease) not only impacts your oral health, but it can impact your overall health as well. Periodontal disease has a direct impact on inflammation in your body, which directly links to heart disease, autoimmune diseases,diabetes, strokes and more.

Our dentists provide high quality, one-on-one care to each patient to ensure a thorough exam and cleaning takes place. If more in depth treatment is needed, our dentists can provide a deeper cleaning or treat the infection with antibiotics.
