Veneers
Veneers are an excellent way to restore and redesign your smile. A veneer is a porcelain or composite resin shell that when applied to the front of your teeth, gives the appearance of a whiter, nicely shaped tooth.
Veneers are used to cover abnormalities such as:
- Stained/discolored teeth
- Cracked or chipped teeth
- Deformed or crooked teeth
- Large gap between front teeth
In order to place the veneer, AGN Dental will minimally contour the tooth to allow room for the new veneer to fit perfectly. Then an impression of your teeth, or a digital image (CEREC) of your tooth, is taken by the dentist and a color check is made, so the veneer will match your other teeth. On your next visit, AGN Dental will place the new veneers on your tooth to create a beautiful smile. Sometimes ZOOM bleaching is done in conjunction with veneers to help enhance the esthetics desired by the patient.
